About This Product
A resistance coil gives a known resistance for electrical practical work in school and college labs. Constantan is used because its resistance changes very little with temperature, and the non-inductive winding keeps the coil behaving as a plain resistance. Each coil is adjusted to within 0.1%, and its value is clearly marked on the top of the case. The Resistance Coils with Sockets can be packed for export to Gabon, Eritrea, Vanuatu, Syria and Bolivia.
