Electrometer and DC Amplifier Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter
Product Code : SEL-PLE-10139
Quick Answer: Acting as an impedance transformer, this electrometer amplifier has an extremely high-resistance voltage input and a low-resistance output, so a connected voltmeter can measure voltages, charges and very small currents without loading the source.

About This Product
An ordinary voltmeter draws current from what it measures, which spoils readings from high-resistance sources. Placing this amplifier between the source and the meter avoids that, so one setup covers quasi-static voltage, charge and very small currents, with the capacitors and resistors modules extending what can be measured. It is used for electrical measurement practicals in school and college labs. The Electrometer and DC Amplifier can be packed for export to Tajikistan, Oman, Samoa, Montenegro and Peru.
Frequently Asked Questions
How are voltages above 10 V DC measured?
Through a capacitive voltage divider made with the capacitors module, or an ohmic voltage divider made with the resistors module.
