About This Product
An electroscope deflects its vane to show that a body is charged; this meter instead puts a number on the charge and its sign, reading digitally in Coulombs. Charge can be given to it by contact, or by induction when a charged body is brought up to the 25mm collecting plate, which turns electrostatics demonstrations into measurements. The Digital Coulomb Meter can be exported to Estonia, Bolivia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, the Maldives and Luxembourg.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does it differ from an ordinary electroscope?
An electroscope deflects its vane, while this instrument shows the charge digitally in Coulombs, positive or negative, up to 1999 nano Coulombs.
How is charge transferred to the meter?
By contact, or by induction when a charged body is brought up to the 25mm collecting plate.
