About This Product
The change-sign key lets students enter negative numbers directly, and the percent key handles everyday problems such as tips, taxes and discounts. Power comes from the solar cell in well-lit areas and from the battery in other light settings, so the calculator can be used in most classrooms. The slide case covers the keys when the calculators are put away between lessons. The Solar Calculator can be exported to Mauritius, Mexico, Chad, the Dominican Republic and Suriname.
Frequently Asked Questions

No. It has dual solar and battery operation: the solar cell powers it in well-lit areas and the battery is used in other light settings.
